Whether you use Pro-Tools, Neundo, Cubase, Logic Audio, Digital Performer, Sonar or any other DAW
application on the MAC or PC platform this seminar is for you. You will be learning overall
recording concepts as well as learning to use the features of your favorite DAW software.
You will not only know how your DAW system works but also how to apply your knowledge to any
other DAW system out there. You will become a better engineer and therefore a better producer
in the long run. You will work with others in your group as you learn to perform every function
in the recording studio. You will create new and exciting pieces of music as you learn your
craft. Everyone will learn to how to record live instruments, as well as, how to record
keyboards and sequences. You will learn about MIDI and it’s correct implementation in the DAW
studio. You will work with computerized sequencers and learn how to build parts.
You will learn how to use virtual synths and other virtual instruments on your computer. You
will learn how to optimize your computer to improve your recording quality. You will learn
how to use effects (both plugins and outboard), EQ, panning and other DAW functions to improve
the mix of your projects. AND MUCH, MUCH MORE…
We will be training small groups once a month on the weekend. Call and setup your interview
time for placement into your correct seminar group before it fills up. We will be matching
experience levels so that everyone feels comfortable and so that we don’t overwhelm some and
boar others.
